Beautiful Fairy: Dress as you want

La semana pasada Abigail me dio una lección de estilo, ese día ella me dijo que quería ponerse su vestido de Hada, mi respuesta fue: pero no vamos a ninguna fiesta, a lo que ella me respondió: No importa, quiero ponérmelo  después de unos segundos de silencio, le dije: Ok, mi esposo me mira con cara de asombro, a lo que respondí: Los niños hay que dejarlos ser ellos mismos, eso les ayuda a desarrollar su propia personalidad desde pequeños y a tomar sus propias decisiones.

Esa tarde fuimos a la oficina, hacer unas diligencias y compras, me sentí tan feliz de verla a ella llevando tan orgullosa su vestido (aunque no fuera a ningún cumple ni fiesta de disfraces), muchas personas estaban maravilladas con ella, luego me puse a pensar en que muchas veces queremos vestirnos de tal o cual forma y por el que dirán no lo hacemos o por que pensamos que no es el adecuado para tal o cual ocasión y siempre terminamos usando lo mismo todos los días, te reto a ser como los niños que no viven para los demás, a vestirte para ti, a ser feliz con lo que llevas, con lo que tienes, con lo que eres, con esto no te estoy diciendo que salgas en vestido de fiesta al cine o que vayas al teatro en jeans rotos, pero si a romper las reglas de vez en cuando, veras que sera mas divertido, feliz día y muchas gracias por sus comentarios, mucho amor. 

Last night Abigail gave me a lesson on manners. That day she told me she wanted to wear her fairy costume and my answer was: ''but we are not going to any party'' and she said it did not matter, after a silence of a couple of seconds i said ok. My husband gave me a look of wonder to which i replied: we have to let children be themselves because that helps them build their own personality and to make their own decissions.


We did some things together that afternoon: We went to my office, ran some errands, did some shopping, i felt so proud to see her on her fairy tale costume even though we did not go to any birthday or costume parties, some people were thrilled when they saw her, so i started to think that sometimes we want to dress in a certains way and we dont't because of what people will say or because we think it is not adequate for the occasion and we end up wearing the same clothes everyday, i encourage you to be like children who do not mind what others might say, to dress for and love for yourself, to be happy with you are and have, im not telling you to wear a gown to go the movies or go to the theater in ripped jeans but to brake the rules sometimes, you will it is more fun, thank you so much for readind have a lovely day, see you tomorrow.
